Industry Specific ComplianceThe Department of Industries and Commerce, Govt. of Tripura on April 22, 2026, notified regarding the Interim Offline Submission Facility under TIPIS, 2017, due to SWAAGAT Portal Migration.

The following has been stated:

• The Government has introduced an interim arrangement under the Tripura Industrial Investment Promotion Incentive Scheme (TIPIS), 2017, due to technical issues arising from the migration of the SWAAGAT Portal from version 1.0 to 2.0.

• During this transition, industrial units are allowed to submit applications, subsidy claims, and clarifications offline to the concerned District Industries Centre (DIC). Authorities will process these submissions in offline mode until the new portal becomes fully functional.

• The notification also provides that deadlines for submitting clarifications are deemed extended, and no application or claim will be rejected as time-barred due to portal-related issues. Once SWAAGAT 2.0 is operational, applicants shall upload the same documents online within 30 days, though the date of physical submission will be treated as valid.

• Additionally, DICs shall issue acknowledgments for all offline submissions. This interim arrangement will remain effective until further notice, ensuring that genuine applicants are not disadvantaged due to technical disruptions.
